MASMO Workshop

Our coaches will prepare your students to solve interesting problems individually and within their groups. The problem set includes challenging but not too difficult problems so as not to discourage novice problem solvers. Students will be introduced to higher-order strategies and more advanced mathematical ideas to help them solve problems. They will experience the satisfaction, fun and thrill of discovery associated with creative problem solving.

Please take note that Intensive Workshop at Math Olympiads Centre or in school is OPTIONAL to help students to prepare for the contest.

Parents are encouraged to purchase a copy of Math Olympiads book for students to practice at home.

MATH OLYMPIADS INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

Malaysia ASEAN Schools Math Olympiads (MASMO)

To help students in their preparation for MASMO 2012, we have arranged 5 lessons of MASMO intensive workshop for those students who would like to have further exposure in Math Olympiads questions. During each workshop session, the students will be trained on a set of questions. Upon the completion of 5 sets of questions, the students will learn the different technique of problem solving as a foundation of learning in Math Olympiads.

2. Medium of Learning

Our workshop is divided into English and Chinese session. Students are welcome to select the medium of learning according to their preference of language to ensure that they fully understand the content of the workshop.

3. Small Class

Most intensive workshops are conducted in the size of more than 100 participants.
Our MASMO Intensive Workshop is limited to maximum 20 students.
